TechFlow news, according to CryptoSlate, the first-quarter 13F filings show that multiple institutional investors have disclosed purchases of spot Bitcoin ETFs, totaling approximately $20 million.
Among them, U.S. Bancorp disclosed on May 8 an investment in spot Bitcoin ETFs worth over $15 million, including about 87,744 shares of Fidelity's FBTC (valued at $5.4 million), approximately 46,011 shares of Grayscale's GBTC (valued at $2.9 million), and around 178,567 shares of BlackRock's IBIT (valued at $7.2 million), with a total reported investment value of $7.18 billion.
Edmond de Rothschild Holding SA disclosed separately on May 9 an investment in spot Bitcoin ETFs worth over $4.2 million, including 103,600 shares of BlackRock's IBIT (valued slightly under $4.2 million) and 1,300 shares of Grayscale's GBTC (valued at $82,121), with a total reported investment value of $6 billion.
In addition, Hightower Advisors, SouthState Bank, Susquehanna International Group, BNP Paribas, Burkett Financial Services, and Legacy Wealth Asset Management have also purchased ETFs. Meanwhile, MassMutual reported on May 9 continuing its investment in Grayscale’s Bitcoin Trust (GBTC), purchasing 227 shares valued at $14,340.
