TechFlow reports that Haseeb, a partner at cryptocurrency venture fund Dragonfly, stated that during due diligence on the Eclipse project, the team heard rumors of Neel Salami having a history of sexual harassment, prompting them to immediately abandon the investment. "We figured that if we were hearing these rumors, actual investors should have been aware too," he said.
Haseeb added that while founders' mistakes might be forgivable, the alleged pattern of prolonged misconduct is intolerable. He expressed embarrassment that someone with such allegations could still secure funding and engage in millions of dollars worth of secondary market trading before the token's official launch.
