TechFlow reports that Ethereum L2 Morph has officially launched the Morph Holesky testnet. This testnet features enhanced performance and infrastructure fully aligned with the upcoming mainnet's capabilities, enabling users to preview all planned mainnet functionalities for a seamless future transition. Key new features include: integration of Optimistic zkEVM with EIP-4844 implementation, significantly reducing transaction costs; a redesigned cross-chain mechanism allowing users to complete withdrawals within a single transaction; and a decentralized sequencer network ensuring security and reliability, along with plans to establish novel economic models around this decentralized sequencer network, introducing a suite of market-first functionalities to set industry standards.
User interactions on the current Morph Holesky testnet will be recorded. Meanwhile, contracts on the Morph Sepolia testnet remain accessible, but developers are advised to migrate to the Morph Holesky testnet.
