TechFlow news: According to an official announcement, since the "Project Dragon" proposal for the Klaytn/Finschia chain merger was approved, both teams have been working diligently and today introduced the new brand kaia.
Reportedly, kaia is an open-source, transparent, and permissionless public blockchain accessible to all. The Klaytn and Finschia teams plan to launch the kaia mainnet by the end of June. To date, they have completed the following tasks: establishing the mission/vision, including whitepaper, strategy, tokenomics, and governance; initial work on setting up a new foundation in Abu Dhabi; developing a new brand identity and planning unified community channels; blockchain security audits; establishing a bilateral token swap program between Klaytn and Finschia; and communicating with exchanges where KLAY and FNSA are already listed to update their tokens to KAIA.
By the end of June, Klaytn and Finschia expect to complete preparations for launching the Kaia DLT Foundation, token swap services, testnet, mainnet, and governance platform, as well as enhanced user and community delegation features. LINE NEXT will take over development and operations of Klaytn's official digital wallet Kaikas, transforming it into a simple and user-friendly gateway for the kaia ecosystem.
