TechFlow reports that the European Center for Digital Rights (Noyb) filed a complaint on April 29, accusing OpenAI of failing to fix false information provided by its generative AI chatbot, ChatGPT. The complaint alleges this may violate EU privacy rules. The complainant, an unnamed public figure, asked OpenAI's chatbot about personal information and consistently received inaccurate responses. OpenAI rejected the individual’s request to correct or delete the data, stating it was "impossible." The company also refused to disclose information about its training data and data sources.
