TechFlow reports, according to official information, that Offchain Labs, the development team behind Arbitrum, has disclosed two critical vulnerabilities in the OP Stack fraud proof system. It is understood that on March 22, the team reported to OP Labs two severe security vulnerabilities discovered on the Optimism testnet—flaws existing within the Optimism fraud proof system deployed by OP Labs. Offchain Labs provided OP Labs with demonstrative exploit code for the attacks. On March 25, OP Labs confirmed the validity of these issues, and both parties coordinated a disclosure timeline, finally publicly revealing the vulnerabilities today.
