TechFlow reported that the INJ 3.0 governance proposal for Layer 1 blockchain network Injective has gone live. If approved, it will mark the most significant upgrade yet to INJ's tokenomics, making it one of the most deflationary assets to date. INJ stakers and validators have four days to vote in favor of IIP-392.
Key points of the proposal include:
- Reducing the lower and upper bounds of the inflation rate: the current lower bound is 5%, proposed to decrease uniformly by 25% per quarter over two years; the current upper bound is 10%, proposed to decrease by 30% over two years.
- Increasing the inflation rate adjustment parameter from 0.1 to 0.5 to enhance responsiveness to staking activity.
Earlier report: Injective launches INJ 3.0 proposal aiming to gradually reduce INJ inflation over two years and improve responsiveness to staking activity.
