TechFlow News — Worldcoin announced it will launch World Chain, a new blockchain designed for humans, later this summer. The chain will be open to all, with verified real users receiving priority access to block space and transaction gas subsidies. Developers will be able to build utility applications serving the daily lives of hundreds of millions of real users worldwide.
The network will be deeply integrated with the Worldcoin protocol to accelerate growth and leverage World ID's proof of unique human identity. Ethereum will secure the chain as an L2, while scalability will be engineered through the Superchain ecosystem.
World Chain will be permissionless, open-source, and ultimately governed independently by the community.
