TechFlow reports, citing Bloomberg, that Hidden Road Partners, a large broker specializing in cryptocurrency and foreign exchange, is raising equity funding in its Series B round, which would value the company at around $1 billion. The current round is expected to raise approximately $120 million.
Founded in 2018, Hidden Road Partners was established by Marc Asch, who previously worked at hedge fund billionaire Steven Cohen's firms SAC Capital and Point72 Asset Management. Hidden Road completed a $50 million funding round in 2022. The firm provides prime brokerage services across multiple markets, including foreign exchange, precious metals, and digital assets.
