TechFlow news, the WorldCoin Foundation has announced the opening of applications for its community grant program WAVE1. In Wave1, WorldCoin has introduced the following categories:
1. Improve developer experience and tools: Solutions and infrastructure that enable other developers to build more easily on Worldcoin;
2. Digital identity: Projects and research based on World ID, or those that make it easier for others to integrate, implement, and leverage in new applications;
3. Ecosystem growth: Community initiatives and activities driving the global expansion of World ID;
4. Governance: Projects, research, and experiments utilizing WorldID and exploring new frontiers in decentralized governance;
5. To be determined.
According to reports, similar to Wave 0, applicants can apply for $10,000 community grants, $50,000 project grants, as well as larger open projects and RFPs. Applications must be submitted before the deadline on May 24, 2024.
