TechFlow reports that decentralized GPU cloud infrastructure Aethir has airdropped 66,000 NFT licenses, worth 29,000 ETH, to over 20,000 node operators (wallets).
Aethir's mainnet is scheduled to launch in Q2 2024. Upon launch, node NFTs will allow holders to set up and operate Aethir nodes. To ensure decentralization, even entry-level machines will be capable of supporting the daily operations of an Aethir Checker node. Alternatively, holders may choose to run nodes via VPS services. By operating nodes, NFT holders become eligible to receive rewards.
