TechFlow news — Metaco, the cryptocurrency custody firm acquired by Ripple for $250 million, has seen nearly all of its executives and marketing team depart from the Switzerland-based company since the deal closed last year.
According to a person familiar with the matter, Metaco’s CEO Adriene Treccani and Chief Product Officer Peter Demeo have both recently left. The company has now also lost its Chief Technology Officer and Chief Customer Officer, Angel Nunez. The individual shared an internal email detailing some of these departures.
Sales lead Craig Perrin, marketing manager Mei Li Powell, product marketing lead, as well as marketing officers Gene Peterson and Rahul Mudgal, have also departed the company, the source said.
Ripple declined to comment on the departures.
