TechFlow News — The Web3 open-world shooter game MetalCore has launched on the Immutable zkEVM blockchain. The game is currently in its second closed testing phase, which runs from April 9 to April 22 and limits the number of participants. MetalCore is expected to enter public beta by the end of 2024, with the PC version available on the Epic Games Store.
MetalCore, developed by Studio 369, is an open-world shooter set in a futuristic outer space environment. Players can choose to join different factions and engage in combat against other players or the environment. The game uses the cryptocurrency MCG as its power source, allowing players to earn MCG and convert it into NFTs. Additionally, the game features another in-game currency called "Marks," which can be earned through in-game contracts, social tasks, and participation in the game's guild system.
