TechFlow news — On April 7, Jeff Ren, Partner at OKX Ventures, spoke at the event "Layer 2 Revolution: Scaling the Future | OKX's L2 X Layer Eco Night," stating that as OKX’s next strategic blockchain technology initiative, X Layer aims to bridge OKX with the Ethereum ecosystem and the broader EVM landscape, while migrating hundreds of millions of users from off-chain to on-chain environments. After more than a year of planning and preparation, X Layer has successfully launched its testnet and developer version of the mainnet as scheduled. Currently, the ZK engineering team behind X Layer has grown fivefold and deployed over 230 testnet projects. Additionally, OKX Ventures is further strengthening X Layer’s ecosystem infrastructure by supporting key ZK Layer-2 projects such as Starkware, zkSync, Scroll, Taiko, and hardware acceleration initiatives.
The event was hosted by XLayer and co-sponsored by Moby, Polygon, Eigenlayer, Renzo, and AWS, aiming to explore and co-build the future of Web3 through insights from industry leaders on scalable solutions.
