TechFlow reports that the public blockchain Flare has announced an upgrade to its oracle system, FTSOv2, offering faster data delivery, broader data coverage, and lower costs while maintaining decentralization.
Key improvements include support for over 50 data sources and more frequent update options. A new feature called "Fast Updates" enhances data accuracy by allowing users to temporarily boost source accuracy through fee payments. Technical features include off-chain computation, a weighted median system, and verification with signatures.
