TechFlow reports that the SlowMist security team has released its Web3 security incident report for March. A total of 33 security incidents occurred this month, resulting in approximately $139 million in losses. Among them, four projects (Munchables, Super Sushi Samurai, Dolomite, and Unizen) successfully recovered about $68.46 million in stolen funds.
Three insider misconduct incidents caused losses totaling $65.4 million, accounting for 46.9% of the total theft amount. The SlowMist security team advises project teams to strengthen internal security measures and access controls over sensitive information.
Eight smart contract vulnerability exploitation incidents led to approximately $36.89 million in losses. Project teams are advised to remain vigilant and conduct regular security audits to maximize protection of their projects and assets.
