TechFlow reports that Taiwan's Ministry of the Interior has approved the application for the local cryptocurrency industry to establish a self-regulatory association.
The working group is now required to complete all preparatory work and formally establish the cryptocurrency industry association by the end of June, as per government requirements.
The working group currently consists of 22 cryptocurrency companies, including major Taiwan-based exchanges such as MaiCoin and BitoPro.
