TechFlow news — Identity and access management solution Civic has announced the launch of a physical ID card as part of its Civic ID system, marking a step forward in private, compliant, and user-centric identity solutions. This global ID will be usable and accepted in 190 countries.
The Civic ID card bridges the new Civic ID system, encompassing digital, physical, and mobile identities. Digital identity exists via the Civic.me platform, including private Civic Pass credentials. The physical Civic ID card features advanced security capabilities enabling offline and NFC-based secure verification. Users can manage their Civic Passes through Civic.me, allowing instant registration and greater control over identity management.
