TechFlow News, March 25, 2024 — Jeff Ren, Partner at OKX Ventures, spoke at the inaugural "Hong Kong Climate Forum" hosted by The University of Hong Kong (HKU), stating that ReFi (Regenerative Finance) is primarily characterized by traceability and verifiability—advantages inherent to blockchain technology. He added that ReFi can offer various digital assets such as green bonds and carbon emission rights, enabling environmental protection and green finance to be more effectively integrated.
The Hong Kong Climate Forum highlights Hong Kong’s critical role as a nexus for climate change research, green innovation, and finance, serving as an important bridge connecting the Greater Bay Area with the global community.
