TechFlow reports that OP Labs has announced an upgrade to the OP Sepolia testnet on March 19, enabling fully functional OP Stack fault proofs. This upgrade will introduce groundbreaking changes affecting cross-chain bridges, CEXs, and custom solutions utilizing withdrawals.
The team is urging relevant developers to update their logic to support fault proofs, as well as update withdrawal monitors and dispute monitors. The recommended fault proof upgrade requires developers to update their withdrawal logic prior to the OP Sepolia release in order to accommodate these fault proof changes. Importantly, withdrawals between OP Sepolia and Sepolia will no longer be instant, as they will now utilize the fault proof mechanism.
