TechFlow reports that after closing arguments in the Crypto Open Patent Alliance (COPA) trial, UK Judge James Mellor stated that Craig Wright is neither Satoshi Nakamoto nor the author of the Bitcoin whitepaper.
The judge said that based on overwhelming evidence, he intends to issue a ruling confirming that Wright is not Satoshi Nakamoto, not the creator of Bitcoin, not the author of the Bitcoin whitepaper, and not the inventor of Bitcoin technology.
Last month, COPA brought Wright to court seeking a declaration that he is not the anonymous creator of the world's largest digital asset, aiming to prevent him from suing other developers or asserting intellectual property rights over the technology.
Earlier report: Craig Wright admitted to editing the Bitcoin whitepaper presented in the COPA trial.
