TechFlow reports, according to data from The Block, the Lightning Network currently holds nearly $325 million in dollar-denominated capacity, reaching an all-time high, while its Bitcoin capacity stands at 4,680 BTC—17% below its historical peak.
The capacity of the Lightning Network refers to the amount of dollars and bitcoins locked in bidirectional payment channels built on top of the Bitcoin blockchain, enabling fast and low-cost transactions with final settlement occurring on the Bitcoin blockchain.
