TechFlow reports that the bankrupt New Zealand-based cryptocurrency exchange Cryptopia plans to distribute Bitcoin and Dogecoin to eligible account holders over the coming months.
In an email sent to creditors, it stated: "Following the first distribution, we will proceed with the approved process, including distributing the remaining Bitcoin, Dogecoin, and all other cryptocurrencies with sufficient value to account holders prior to the end of 2024."
The exchange went offline after suffering a cyberattack in 2019, which resulted in the theft of millions of dollars worth of tokens.
