TechFlow news, according to Cointelegraph, the Australian Securities and Investments Commission (ASIC) said on February 28 that it has obtained an interim travel restriction order from the Federal Court of Australia against Liang Allan Guo, former director of Blockchain Global, dated February 20. The travel restriction was sought due to concerns that he might leave Australia while ASIC's investigation continues.
Previously, Blockchain Global operated the cryptocurrency trading platform ACX Exchange between January 2016 and December 2019. A liquidator was appointed on February 11, 2022, to oversee the liquidation process of the exchange. Liang Allan Guo transferred approximately USD 1.69 million (AUD 2.6 million) from bank accounts holding investor funds of ACX Exchange for personal investments.
