TechFlow reported, the Securities and Futures Commission (SFC) of Hong Kong has re-published on its official website information regarding Huobi HK's virtual asset trading platform license application, with the application date being February 26.
Previously, Huobi HK had submitted an application, which was withdrawn on February 23. To date, the number of virtual asset trading platform license applicants published by the SFC has reached 20.
In addition, the SFC's official website stated that virtual asset trading platforms operating in Hong Kong must cease their operations in Hong Kong by May 31, 2024, if they have not submitted a license application to the SFC by February 29, 2024. Investors using these virtual asset trading platforms should make preparations early.
