TechFlow reports that the Starknet Foundation has announced on X that STRK tokens will be claimable starting at 20:00 on February 20, 2024.
STRK token distribution has been corrected following community feedback:
- Fixed an issue affecting approximately 900 Ethereum mainnet stakers who operated multiple validators but were incorrectly counted as using only one; they will receive a total of about 6.5 million STRK;
- Rated.network updated their staker classification model based on community input, resulting in over 6.9 million STRK being distributed to more than 1,000 solo stakers who were previously misclassified;
- Resolved an issue affecting around 1,900 GitHub handles whose eligibility was compromised due to handle changes after the snapshot and subsequent squatting after the announcement period; over 1 million STRK have been reserved for potential future community distribution;
- On StarkEx, discrepancies allowing custodial firms to claim on behalf of approximately 200,000 user keys have been removed, and a process will be established later for these users to claim their allocations.
These corrections will be applied tomorrow.
