TechFlow news, on February 15, the Klaytn<>Finschia mainnet merger proposal (KGP-25), jointly initiated by the Klaytn Foundation and the Finschia Foundation, was approved. The merger aims to build Asia's largest Web3 ecosystem and plans to launch a unified mainnet.
The merger seeks to integrate the technologies and services of both platforms to create Asia’s leading and most competitive blockchain. The two foundations will establish a task force and set up a unified foundation in Abu Dhabi during the second quarter of 2024, implementing a single governance structure to efficiently operate the unified mainnet.
A new tokenomics model will merge KLAY and FNSA into a single new token, expanding governance delegation and community participation to drive innovation across Asia’s blockchain industry.
