TechFlow reports, according to sources, that Founders Fund, the venture capital firm founded by PayPal co-founder and "Silicon Valley investing guru" Peter Thiel, has once again invested in Bitcoin and Ethereum, signaling a renewed interest from Silicon Valley in the cryptocurrency market. From late summer to early autumn last year, the fund invested $200 million to acquire crypto tokens, splitting the investment equally between Bitcoin and Ethereum.
Sources added that the fund began purchasing Bitcoin last summer when its price was below $30,000, and continued buying more Bitcoin and Ethereum over the following months. However, the average prices of these transactions remain unknown.
