TechFlow reports, according to the press, that Hong Kong blockchain insurance technology company MediConCen has announced the completion of a USD 6.85 million (approximately HKD 53.43 million) Series A funding round led by HSBC Asset Management, with participation from Gao Mei Capital, ParticleX, and Eternity Ventures.
MediConCen primarily leverages cutting-edge artificial intelligence (AI) and blockchain technologies to digitize paper-based and manual claims processes. To date, the company has raised a total of USD 12.7 million (approximately HKD 99.06 million). The new capital will accelerate its expansion into international markets, including the Middle East and Southeast Asia.
