TechFlow News — Pyth Network has announced on X that voting is now open for "PIP-1: Adopt the Pyth DAO Charter" proposal. Community members who have staked $PYTH can now participate in the vote via Pyth Governance.
The proposal aims to:
- Establish rules and procedures for submitting and voting on PIPs
- Recommend forming two committees — the Pythian Committee and the Price Feed Committee — responsible for voting on and implementing certain operational PIPs as defined in the proposed charter
- Outline a set of values and principles for the Pyth DAO community, centered around ownership, governance, and inclusivity, to serve the long-term interests of Pyth DAO. Once passed, the proposal will provide a clear framework for Pyth DAO’s governance, operations, and processes, enabling future Pyth Improvement Proposals (PIPs) to be submitted.
Voting began at 2:00 AM Beijing time today and will remain open for 7 days. As of now, the proposal has received 222,069,021 votes in favor, representing 99.5% of the total votes cast.
