The two companies have launched an integration between Robinhood Connect and MetaMask's Buy Crypto aggregator. This initiative aims to reduce friction for Robinhood users purchasing cryptocurrency, with the service currently available only to customers in the United States.
Robinhood Connect is the company's platform enabling users to buy and transfer cryptocurrency to self-custody wallets and decentralized applications. MetaMask's Buy Crypto aggregator allows individuals to purchase cryptocurrency from multiple providers across 189 countries, complying with Know Your Customer regulations based on the user's region.
