TechFlow news — video game retailer GameStop has announced plans to launch its own NFT marketplace, expected to offer a range of features tailored for gamers, collectors, and enthusiasts. This could include the ability to buy, sell, and trade NFTs linked to popular video game franchises, exclusive digital collectibles, and in-game virtual items.
Previous report, on January 13, GameStop decided to shut down its NFT marketplace, stating: "Due to ongoing regulatory uncertainty in the crypto space, GameStop has decided to close our NFT marketplace. The platform will cease operations starting February 2 this year. Since NFTs are minted on the blockchain, they remain accessible and can be bought and sold through other marketplaces."
