TechFlow reported that Ripple co-founder and Executive Chairman Chris Larsen said on X: "Some of my personal XRP accounts (not Ripple's) were subject to unauthorized access yesterday. We detected the issue quickly and promptly notified exchanges to freeze the affected addresses. Law enforcement has been involved."
Previous report: According to ZachXBT's monitoring, Ripple appears to have been hacked, with 213 million XRP (worth $112 million) stolen. So far, the stolen funds have been laundered through exchanges including MEXC, Gate, Binance, Kraken, OKX, HTX, and HitBTC.
