TechFlow reported, Daniel Batten, Managing Partner at CH4 Capital, stated on X: "While we were asleep, the European Commission (through ESMA and ECB) has been preparing a report in which they plan to label Bitcoin as environmentally harmful, a threat to EU energy security, and a safe haven for financial criminals—paving the way for an EU ban on BTC and Bitcoin mining by 2025."
He later added in a comment: "The reason they reached this conclusion is because Lyudmyla Kozlovska, founder of ODFoundation, and Bota Jardemalie have read every single EC document and have been fighting this for 18 months."
