TechFlow news, according to data from The Block's dashboard, ETH options trading volume has reached a record high. In January, the total trading volume of ETH options surged to nearly $20 billion, with approximately $15 billion of that volume coming from activity on the Deribit derivatives exchange.
Data from Deribit shows that the majority (over 74,548 contracts) of outstanding ETH options are call options with a strike price of $2,500, set to expire on Friday, February 23, representing a notional value of approximately $172 million.
