TechFlow news: SSV DAO has announced the launch of a new Distributed Key Generation (DKG) tool, a key milestone in enhancing the security and trustlessness of the ssv.network protocol.
DKG enables a different approach to decentralized node operations and is a crucial component in building non-custodial staking validation services on the SSV network. With DKG, validator private keys are never fully assembled, enabling validator duties to be performed without any custodial service or other entity holding the keys. Keyshares, a core element of Distributed Validator Technology (DVT), allow diverse node operators to deliver services with higher levels of security, fault tolerance, and decentralization.
