TechFlow reports that Solana announced on X the formation of Anza, a new software development company focused on Solana. Anza plans to develop its own validator client called Agave and join the list of core contributors helping to build the Solana network.
Reportedly founded by a group of executives and core engineers from Solana Labs, Anza is building a next-generation developer shop centered around Solana. It will create a forked version of the Solana Labs validator client named Agave and contribute to other major protocols within the Solana ecosystem.
Previous report, according to Fortune magazine, about 45 out of Solana Labs' current 100 employees are transitioning to a new entity called Anza to help further decentralize Solana's ecosystem, maintain and improve the blockchain's existing infrastructure, and develop additional applications and products.
