TechFlow reported, according to a survey conducted by blockchain security firm Coinover, among more than 16,000 participants, approximately 17% said they own cryptocurrency, while at least 30% indicated they might invest in crypto within the next 12 months.
The data also shows that BTC is viewed as the most popular crypto asset by a majority of respondents (46%), followed by NFTs at 18%, and Ethereum ranking third at 17%. Regarding trust issues, the study found that as many as 30% of non-crypto users have zero trust in centralized crypto exchanges. More people perceive cryptocurrencies as enablers of financial fraud rather than tools for privacy.
