TechFlow reports that the National Science Foundation has partnered with NVIDIA to launch the National Artificial Intelligence Research Resource (NAIRR) pilot program, aimed at expanding access to tools needed to advance responsible AI discovery and innovation.
The pilot involves 10 federal agencies, as well as private-sector, nonprofit, and philanthropic organizations. NVIDIA has committed $30 million in technical support over two years, helping scale the pilot and accelerate progress toward full implementation.
The pilot program aims to support foundational AI research, broaden participation in the AI innovation ecosystem, and refine the design of a future comprehensive national AI research resource.
