TechFlow reported, according to VentureBeat, that Web3 gaming monetization platform 3thix has raised $8.5 million in funding. The round was backed by Hand of Midas, the family office of Xsolla founder Shurick Agapitov, and Sonic Boom Ventures, the family office of Algorand co-founder and former CEO Steve Kokinos.
Based in Austin, Texas, 3thix aims to reshape the landscape of gaming monetization by integrating Web3 infrastructure and addressing challenges around privacy, user experience, and sustainable growth. One of 3thix's key innovations is the implementation of a decentralized advertising identifier (IDFA) model, which ensures user data privacy while providing developers and advertisers with valuable analytics to maximize monetization potential, building a real-world economy through innovative in-game transactions.
