TechFlow reported, according to CoinDesk, that Google Cloud has joined the Flare network as a validation node and infrastructure provider.
Flare describes itself as the "blockchain for data," offering developers decentralized access to data through its Oracle system. In blockchain, an oracle refers to an entity that connects the network with external systems, enabling smart contracts to execute based on external inputs and outputs.
Google Cloud is one of 100 organizations serving in the role of Flare Time Series Oracle (FTSO).
Previous report, Flare currently has a total of 91 network validators globally, with all validators acting as data providers for the Flare Time Series Oracle (FTSO), making FTSO one of the most decentralized and reliable oracles available to developers.
