TechFlow reported, crypto KOL 0xWizard tweeted that he has identified the cause of his X account hack. The attacker impersonated a Cointelegraph journalist and sent him a message under the pretext of scheduling an interview, tricking him into clicking a Calendly booking link, which led to the compromise of his Twitter account.
Do not casually click on links sent via direct messages to avoid falling victim to similar attacks.
