TechFlow reported that decentralized crypto exchange Mango Markets stated in Discord it is facing a U.S. "investigation" stemming from a theft incident in October 2022. Currently, MangoDAO, the governing body of the DEX, is voting on whether to appoint CyberByte as the DEX's representative to handle regulatory matters. Community members of the DEX are discussing how to respond to regulatory authorities.
In addition, Avi Eisenberg, who is accused of fraud and theft, will stand trial in the coming months over charges related to stealing over $100 million from Mango Markets.
