TechFlow news: Solana Labs co-founder Anatoly Yakovenko stated that developers can create Layer 2 solutions on Solana, but Solana itself is focused on synchronizing the global atomic state machine at the fastest possible speed.
He believes sidechains and other technologies are innovative but cannot scale the atomic global state machine. Solana aims to enhance a single virtual machine instance by directly scaling Layer 1, hoping that in the future, scaling can be achieved simply by upgrading hardware.
