TechFlow news, according to News1, South Korea's National Intelligence Service stated it is cooperating with other parties to investigate the cause of the Orbit Bridge hack and identify the attackers.
Under South Korea's "Information and Communications Network Act," information and communication service providers are required to immediately report security breaches to the Ministry of Science and ICT or the Korea Internet & Security Agency.
The Korea Internet & Security Agency and the National Police Agency are also involved in analyzing the incident. Given analysis indicating the North Korean hacker group Lazarus may be behind the attack, South Korea's National Intelligence Service has joined the investigation.
