TechFlow reports that Geth developer @lightclients announced the conclusion of the 178th Ethereum Core Developers Execution (ACDE) meeting. The meeting confirmed that the Goerli testnet will undergo the Cancun upgrade on January 17, with Sepolia and Holesky testnet upgrades scheduled for January 30 and February 7, respectively.
Goerli clients will be released next week, while Sepolia and Holesky clients are set to be released during the week of January 22.
The 179th ACDE meeting is scheduled for January 18, and the upgrade timeline may be rescheduled if any issues arise.
Additionally, Ethereum's next upgrade after Cancun will be the Prague/Electra (Pectra) upgrade.
