TechFlow reports that PowerPod has recently completed its seed round financing, raising $1 million. The round was led by Waterdrip Capital, with participation from Iotex, Future Money Group, JDI Group, Future3 Campus, and Wagmi Venture. The funding will be primarily used to strengthen hardware development and testing, validate the minimum viable business model, and build the community ecosystem. PowerPod aims to establish a globally open and interoperable charging network to accelerate low-carbon emissions in the global transportation sector.
