TechFlow News: Huobi Korea announced last Friday that it will shut down its services on January 29. Originally established as the South Korean branch of global exchange HTX, Huobi Korea cited challenging "business conditions" for the closure.
The company stated that users will still be able to withdraw funds after the shutdown.
It is reported that South Korea's top five exchanges—Upbit, Bithumb, Coinone, Korbit, and Gopax—account for 99.6% of the country's total cryptocurrency trading volume.
