TechFlow reported, according to Coin ATM Radar data cited by Cointelegraph, that as of January 1, 2024, the global number of cryptocurrency ATMs stood at 33,628 units, an 11.1% decrease from the 37,827 recorded on January 1, 2023.
The United States saw the largest decline in cryptocurrency ATMs in 2023, dropping from 32,672 to 27,631 units, a 15.4% decrease. Nevertheless, the country still accounts for 82% of all cryptocurrency ATMs worldwide.
Meanwhile, the numbers in Australia, Canada, Spain, and Poland have steadily increased.
