TechFlow news — US prosecutors said they do not plan to pursue a second trial against Sam Bankman-Fried (SBF), the founder of the FTX cryptocurrency exchange, according to Reuters.
In a letter filed with the federal court in Manhattan, prosecutors noted that the majority of evidence was already presented during the first trial, and swiftly resolving the matter serves a "strong public interest."
SBF's sentencing is expected to be announced in March 2024.
